10 Year Celebration

Oklahoma Agents Alliance awarded more than $1.4 million in excess compensation and profit sharing bonuses to members at its 10th Anniversary Celebration May 12, 2011. OAA also honored the year's best agents at the event.

"Once again we were thrilled to highlight the success of our members," President Chris Torres said. "Even in a hard economy, our members are growing their agencies and profits by taking advantage of the partnerships OAA has formed with the country's leading insurance carriers."

 More than 120 members agents and insurance company representatives attended the event. The annual presentation of bonus checks from insurance companies such as Hartford, MetLife and Travelers has made the event one of the largest insurance-themed events in Oklahoma each year.

"The growth of our annual event really brings home just how large Oklahoma Agents Alliance has become," Tony Caldwell, owner said. "We know we're one of the largest writers of insurance in the region, with an unprecedented 31 percent compounded annual growth rate since we began and $140 million plus premium volume planned for this year.  I am amazed at how both the number and amount of the checks to our members have grown in just a few short years."

OAA remembered those early years by honoring it first member agency, Williams & Humphrey of Muskogee, which joined in 2001.

Oklahoma Agents Alliance is a growing network of independent insurance agencies in Oklahoma.  OAA offers growth opportunities to agencies that want to remain independent while also being able to compete with larger regional agencies and clusters.
