Territory Managers

Oklahoma Agents Alliance is looking to increase our presence to recruit more independent agency members. We are seeking Territory Managers in OK, KS and AR.

Job Description:
Are you an experienced insurance management professional looking for an exciting career change and opportunity for growth? Our fast paced, highly energized organization is seeking a Territory Manager. We covering the territories in Western Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas.
The role of the territory manager is to grow our agency alliance through both working with existing Member Agencies to grow their premium as well as appointing new Members. OAA is dedicated to the independent insurance agency distribution channel. We are looking for recruiters to work with those agents to grow their agencies.

Primary functions:

  • Work with the team to identify and recruit potential new members
  • Participate in company and agency functions to network for company appointments and Member prospect leads
  • Analyze Member prospects to determine suitability for membership
  • Track and meet sales goals. Report on individual performance.
  • Negotiate and execute Membership contracts
  • Negotiate and monitor book transfers for Members
  • Occasionally work company reps to secure Member appointments and/or sub-codes
  • Review company experience reports to assure quality business is being written
  • Work closely with internal team members in compliance, accounting and agency development
  • Use materials provided by communications dept. to market OAA
  • Regular visitation with Members to review opportunities and programs
  • Quickly build rapport with members and prospects. Always conduct business with integrity
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms. Entering accurate, timely activity records is an essential job function
  • Other duties as necessary

Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four year College or university; or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Property and casualty insurance company, wholesale insurance, and/or agency experience required. Ability to travel. Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment. Comfortable with independent work as well being a team leader. Must have ability to communicate effectively one–on-one and to larger groups via multiple mediums using proper grammar, spelling, and sentence structure in both written and verbal communication. Previous sales experience a plus. Strong leadership qualities and professionalism. Personal accountability and time- management skills. Pride in appearance.

Staff Accountant

Job Location: Oklahoma City, OK (Midtown)

OAA is looking for a Staff Accountant.

Required: Prefer a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and 2-4 years of accounting experience.

OAA is an entrepreneurial company. Ideal candidate will enjoy being part of a quickly changing and growing entrepreneurial culture, be a team player and enjoy “doing the work” of accounting.

This is a small but growing business. Must be a self-starter, and able to multi-task. Must be organized, engaged, reliable and responsible and a good communicator both written and verbal. Must be proficient in MS Office and Quickbooks. Prefer Insurance industry and AMS 360 experience.
